QC Laboratory Support Technician - Contract - Clayton, NC

��Ƶ is seeking a QC Laboratory Support Technician to join a dynamic team in Clayton, NC.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will support laboratory operations by performing routine tasks, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical environment.

Skills & Requirements:

High School Diploma required; an associate or bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry) is preferred.
0-1 year of related experience, depending on educational background.
Prior experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or a regulated industry is preferred.
Familiarity with general lab equipment and techniques, including pipetting and buffer preparation.
Ability to follow established written protocols, such as standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Knowledge of regulatory standards like GMP, GDP, and GLP is preferred but not required.

The QC Laboratory Support Technician's responsibilities will be:

Document routine activities in compliance with company standards.
Maintain laboratory equipment, including assisting with maintenance and calibration.
Perform housekeeping tasks to ensure the lab meets organizational standards.
Support basic laboratory tasks such as pH measurement, weighing, and pipetting.
Manage inventory for consumables and reagents, including ordering, preparing, and restocking.
Assist with problem-solving efforts and laboratory investigations, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
Clean laboratory glassware and organize workstations following 5S standards.
Document findings in adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Handle and dispose of biohazards and hazardous waste in compliance with OSHA standards.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on basic lab equipment.
Adhere to safety, environmental, and ethical standards, including healthcare laws and regulatory guidelines.
Execute assigned laboratory activities and methods with minimal supervision.
Perform other duties as assigned.
