ذكذكتسئµ is seeking a Research Associate Mass Spectrometry to join a dynamic team focused on advancing healthcare innovation. In this lab-based role, you will contribute to the discovery and development of transformative medicines by leveraging mass spectrometry techniques to analyze metabolites, lipids, and proteins. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively in a cutting-edge research environment.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and implement LC-MS workflows for analyzing metabolites, lipids, and proteins.
- Prepare and analyze samples from cell cultures and tissues using mass spectrometry techniques.
- Perform data analysis, interpret results, and present findings to colleagues.
- Contribute to general laboratory operations, including instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with team members to support ongoing research projects.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Educational background in a relevant scientific field (apprenticeship, BS, or MS degree).
- Hands-on experience with LC and MS equipment, such as Triple Quadrupole and/or ToF instruments, including method development and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in sample preparation techniques, including tissue and cell homogenization and extraction.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in written and verbal English.
