ذكذكتسئµ is seeking a Distribution Centre Operative to support the safe, accurate, and compliant handling of pharmaceutical products. This role involves maintaining product integrity, adhering to regulatory standards, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and batch details.
- Store pharmaceuticals under required conditions, such as temperature control, following Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
- Rotate stock using First Expiry First Out (FEFO) procedures.
- Accurately pick and pack orders using warehouse management systems and barcode scanners.
- Prepare dispatch documentation and coordinate with logistics carriers.
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile stock levels to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Report and investigate discrepancies or incidents.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GDP/GMP regulations to ensure product quality.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, security, and housekeeping.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet trucks) as licensed.
- Use warehouse management systems, handheld scanners, and basic IT tools for tracking operations.
- Report issues or deviations promptly to supervisors.
- Collaborate with warehouse, quality, and logistics teams.
- Suggest improvements to processes or workflows.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Experience in warehouse operations, ideally within pharmaceutical or regulated environments.
- Knowledge of GDP/GMP guidelines and warehouse safety standards.
- Forklift license and experience preferred.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems, barcode scanning, and Microsoft Excel/Word.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
- Basic numeracy and IT literacy.
